Bayo Social is a Caribbean-Creole restaurant on North Claiborne Avenue in the 7th Ward, opened by a Marine veteran with Caribbean heritage who wanted to honor both the island that raised him and the city that took him in. The menu pairs jerk spices with Gulf seafood in a room the owners describe as sophisticated but full of soul.
