At the center of Oddusee Nola is a directory of Black-owned businesses across New Orleans and the surrounding parishes — restaurants, real estate agents, event venues, and service providers, each one searchable and easy to find.
But a business doesn’t exist apart from its neighborhood, and a New Orleans neighborhood doesn’t exist apart from its culture. So the site grew to hold both: the entrepreneurs building the city’s economy, and the second lines, brass bands, and Mardi Gras Indians who carry its history forward every year.
