Tremé Hideaway is a neighbourhood bar and live music room at 1234 N Claiborne Ave, tucked under the Claiborne overpass in the heart of Tremé.

New Orleans and Company calls it one of the city’s best-kept secrets: drink specials, hot food put out nightly, and live music running through the evening. It turns up on the local music listings kept by WWOZ and OffBeat, which is about the best proof there is that a Tremé room is real and not just a sign on a door.

Doors are Thursday through Sunday, 4PM to 4AM. Check their social pages before you go — the lineup changes week to week.
