Hubbard Mansion

About Hubbard Mansion

Hubbard Mansion is a Greek revival bed and breakfast at 3535 St Charles Ave, right on the streetcar line at the Garden District end of the avenue.

Don Hubbard built the house for his wife in the late 1990s, and it has taken guests since January 2000. It is the only Black-owned bed and breakfast on St. Charles Avenue, and the Hubbards were the second Black family to own property along it. Inside there are five guest rooms with suite combinations plus a carriage house, family photographs on the walls, and a breakfast guests tend to write home about.

Reservations go through the mansion’s own booking system, and the house also hosts special events.
