About Bertha's Place
Bertha's Place has anchored St. Bernard Avenue for decades. Fire heavily damaged the original building, which came down in 2018, and the bar was rebuilt and reopened nearby with the same easygoing feel regulars remember. Owner Bertha is still a fixture there – longtime customers call her family.
