The Storyville Stompers have been carrying the traditional New Orleans brass band sound since 1981, founded by Woody Penouilh. Named for the historic Storyville district, they built their reputation the old-fashioned way — in the streets, at weddings, funerals, and festivals.
For more than four decades the Stompers have been a go-to for authentic second line music, keeping the traditional repertoire alive for a new generation of New Orleans celebrations.
