The Big 6 Brass Band started in 2017 with exactly six members — veterans and alumni of Rebirth, Hot 8, Stooges, TBC, and Da Truth — who found each other at jam sessions and decided to build something new.
Almost overnight they became the most in-demand band on the streets, playing nearly every second line of the 2018–19 season and dropping their debut album “Big Six” in 2019. Smooth R&B meets the rough-and-ready sound of the street.
