Lenora Rolla Heritage Center Museum

The museum of the Tarrant County Black Historical and Genealogical Society, founded by community historian Lenora Rolla, dedicated to preserving the history of African Americans in Fort Worth and Tarrant County. It holds archives, photographs and artifacts documenting Black North Texas life.

Visitor Info

Visitors see rotating and permanent exhibits on local Black pioneers, churches, businesses and genealogy resources. It is generally open Tuesday and Thursday on a limited schedule, so call ahead to confirm.
