Kearney Park Compounding Pharmacy has been open since 2012 under founder Dr. Fronce Barnes, PharmD, who chose Xavier University of Louisiana because it was, in his words, the number one producer of African American pharmacists. He built it from scratch as a minority-owned business and it is now one of the most capable independents in the DFW metro — a full sterile and non-sterile compounding operation, which is rare for a shop this size.
Services
Kearney Park runs USP 795, 797 and 800 compliant compounding, including bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, ophthalmic preparations such as atropine and dry-eye drops, flavored pediatric dosage forms, pain and dermatology creams, men’s health formulations, weight-management and ketamine-therapy support compounds, plus veterinary compounds for cats, dogs and horses. They also give vaccines — COVID, flu, shingles, hepatitis, pneumococcal and Tdap — run wellness and functional-medicine consultations, support assisted-living facilities, and sell durable medical equipment including compression garments, orthopedic footwear, lift chairs and mobility aids. Logistics are strong: a drive-thru, a 24-hour smart pickup locker, same-day DFW delivery and temperature-controlled shipping statewide. They bill insurance and specifically name Aetna, UnitedHealthcare and Blue Cross Blue Shield. Hours are Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and Saturday 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM, closed Sunday.
