The former home of civil rights pioneer Juanita Craft, who organized 182 NAACP youth councils and helped desegregate the University of Texas, the State Fair of Texas, and Dallas lunch counters and theaters. The house hosted figures including Martin Luther King Jr., Thurgood Marshall and Lyndon B. Johnson.
