Maxie Johnson represents District 4, covering South Dallas including Cedar Crest and South Oak Cliff. A pastor and former Dallas ISD board of trustees member, he won the open seat in May 2025 with roughly 75 percent of the vote, succeeding the term-limited Carolyn King Arnold.
