John Creuzot is a former longtime state district judge who pioneered drug-diversion courts in Dallas County before being elected district attorney in 2018 and re-elected in 2022. He is known for criminal justice reform policies, and before his more than two decades on the bench he worked as both a prosecutor and defense attorney.
