Jeff Dorocak

Jeff Dorocak is the Las Vegas City Attorney, appointed by the City Council rather than elected. The office is the city's law firm: its civil division advises the mayor, council and city departments, drafts ordinances and contracts and defends the city in lawsuits, while its criminal division prosecutes adult misdemeanors such as DUI, domestic violence and traffic offenses under the Las Vegas Municipal Code. He serves at the pleasure of the City Council, so there is no fixed term end.
