Douglas Herndon

Douglas Herndon is a Chief Justice, Nevada Supreme Court, Seat D. The Nevada Supreme Court is the state court of last resort, hearing appeals from the district courts on criminal convictions, civil judgments, water and public-lands disputes and constitutional questions, and it supervises the state court system and the licensing of lawyers. Justices are elected statewide in nonpartisan elections to six-year terms, and the seven justices choose a chief justice from among themselves.
