Shea M. Backus

Shea M. Backus represents District 37 in the Nevada Assembly, a Clark County district in the Las Vegas valley. Assembly members are one of the 42 members of the lower chamber of the Nevada Legislature, introducing and voting on state legislation, the state budget and tax policy during the session the Legislature holds in odd-numbered years in Carson City. Assembly seats carry two-year terms, and this term ends with the November 2026 general election.
