Richie Floyd is the St. Petersburg City Council, District 8. One of eight council members who write city ordinances, approve the mayor’s budget, set property tax rates and vote on rezonings and land deals. As 2026 Vice-Chair he fills in when the chair is absent. District 8 covers the Kenwood, Grand Central and west-central St. Pete area.
