René Flowers is the Pinellas County Commissioner, District 7 (Single-Member). County commissioners set the county property tax rate, pass the county budget and write ordinances covering unincorporated Pinellas and countywide services like transit, the jail budget, beach renourishment and tourist-tax spending. District 7 is a single-member seat covering St. Petersburg and south Pinellas, elected only by voters in that district.
