Kathleen Peters is the Pinellas County Commissioner, District 6 (Single-Member). County commissioners set the county property tax rate, pass the county budget and write ordinances covering unincorporated Pinellas and countywide services like transit, the jail budget, beach renourishment and tourist-tax spending. District 6 is a single-member seat covering the mid-county and beaches area, elected only by voters in that district.
