Victor D. Crist is the Hillsborough County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller. The clerk keeps the official records of the county courts and records deeds, mortgages and marriage licenses, and collects court fines and fees. As comptroller the office is also the county’s auditor and bookkeeper, paying the county’s bills and watching how commissioners spend public money.
