Billy Webb Elks Lodge

This 1926 building near Williams Avenue was originally a segregated YWCA branch serving Black women, then a WWII USO for Black servicemen, and later a Red Cross relief center after the 1948 Vanport flood. Since 1959 it has been home to the Billy Webb Elks, a historic Black fraternal organization.

The building remains owned and operated by the Billy Webb Elks and hosts community events. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2020, so confirm event access directly.
