Kesha Hodge Washington

One of nine votes on the city budget, zoning cases, ordinances and contracts, and collectively the body that hires and fires the City Manager. District members are the direct line for neighborhood problems in south and southeast Phoenix including the airport area – streets, trash, police staffing, parks and libraries. Hodge Washington was also selected Vice Mayor in January 2026, a rotating council designation rather than a separate election.
