Hadley Park

Opened in 1912 and widely cited as one of the first public parks in the United States created for African Americans. Located beside Tennessee State University, it has long been a center of Black community life in North Nashville.

Visitor Info

The park features a historical marker, green space, sports facilities and the Hadley Park Regional Community Center. It is open to the public daily.
