Rosanna “Rosie” Cordero-Stutz

Rosanna “Rosie” Cordero-Stutz is the Sheriff of Miami-Dade County. The Sheriff is the county’s elected top law-enforcement officer, running the Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office, the former Miami-Dade Police Department. Four-year term ending January 2029. The county’s first elected sheriff in roughly 60 years; took office January 7, 2025.
