Rafael Villalobos is the Superintendent of Miami-Dade County Public Schools (appointed). The Superintendent is the appointed chief executive of the school district, running daily operations for more than 300,000 students. Appointed by the School Board under contract. Selected unanimously in July 2026 and began September 2, 2026, succeeding Jose Dotres.
