Jay Collins is the Lieutenant Governor of Florida. The Lieutenant Governor is first in line to succeed the governor and carries out duties the governor assigns. Term ending January 5, 2027. Appointed in August 2025 after Jeanette Nuñez resigned; ran for governor and lost the August 2026 Republican primary.
