Edwin A. Scales III

Edwin A. Scales III is the Chief Judge, Third District Court of Appeal. The Third DCA hears appeals from Miami-Dade and Monroe County trial courts; its ten judges are appointed by the governor and stand for merit-retention votes every six years. Two-year term as chief judge ending June 30, 2027.
