Carlos Gimenez

Carlos Gimenez is the U.S. Representative, Florida’s 28th District. Represents the district in the U.S. House, which writes federal laws, controls federal spending and oversees the executive branch. Two-year term ending January 3, 2027. Running for re-election against Phil Ehr (D). FL-28 covers South Dade and the Keys. Florida adopted a new congressional map in May 2026 that applies to the November 2026 election, so district lines shift after this term.
