Maria Teresa “Mari Tere” Rojas is the Miami-Dade School Board Member, District 6. School Board members set policy, adopt the budget, and hire and oversee the Superintendent of Miami-Dade County Public Schools, the nation’s third-largest district. Four-year term; re-elected unopposed in June 2026 to a new term beginning November 2026. Board Chair, re-elected to the chair in November 2025 for a fourth consecutive year.
