Dr. Dorothy Bendross-Mindingall is the Miami-Dade School Board Member, District 2. School Board members set policy, adopt the budget, and hire and oversee the Superintendent of Miami-Dade County Public Schools, the nation’s third-largest district. Four-year term; re-elected unopposed in June 2026 to a new term beginning November 2026. District 2 covers Liberty City, Little Haiti and Overtown.
