James Reyes

James Reyes is the City Manager of Miami (appointed). The City Manager is the chief administrative officer who runs day-to-day operations, oversees more than 5,000 employees and administers the city budget. Appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by the Commission; no fixed term. Sworn in January 12, 2026 after serving as Miami-Dade County’s Chief of Public Safety.
