Established in 1977 and named for pioneering Black composer William Grant Still, the Dean of African American Composers, this LA Department of Cultural Affairs center anchors the West Adams community. It focuses on multicultural art, music and youth arts education.

Visitors find rotating exhibitions, workshops and signature annual events such as the Black Doll Show. It is generally open Tuesday through Saturday with free admission.
