The green triangle the Olmsted Brothers laid out as the civic center of Walter Leimert's 1928 subdivision, and now the front yard of Black cultural Los Angeles. The Sunday drum circle, the Leimert Park Art Walk, Juneteenth and Kwanzaa gatherings and countless rallies all happen here. It sits at the head of Degnan Boulevard, steps from the World Stage, KAOS Network, Art + Practice and the Vision Theatre, and the Metro K Line's Leimert Park station is a short walk away.
