Big Chief Keith "Keitoe" Jones has led the Seminoles since 1994, following Big Chief Joe Pete (1984-1993). Jones began masking at 14 in the early 1970s as a Spy Boy for the 9th Ward Hunters and is known for detailed flat beadwork learned from White Eagles Second Chief Felton Brown. He received the Crystal Feather Award and induction into the Mardi Gras Indian Hall of Fame; Demond Melancon served as his Spy Boy for more than 15 years before founding the Young Seminole Hunters.
