Mohawk Hunters Mardi Gras Indian Tribe

The Mohawk Hunters are the best-known Mardi Gras Indian gang on the West Bank, based in Algiers and led by Big Chief Tyrone Casby, who has masked for more than 50 years and was principal of L.B. Landry-O.P. Walker High School. Casby organizes the West Bank Super Sunday ("West Fest") each spring, which parades from Landry-Walker High School to McDonogh Playground in Algiers.
