7th Ward Creole Hunters Mardi Gras Indian Tribe

The 7th Ward Creole Hunters were founded by Big Chief Jermaine "Jigga" Bossier. Bossier and 9th Ward Hunters Big Chief Romeo Bougere, leaders of once-rival gangs, formed the band 79rs Gang, whose recordings include Fire on the Bayou (2015) and Expect the Unexpected (2020) and whose live sets have appeared on KEXP and at folk festivals across the country.
