KJLH 102.3 FM is the legendary Los Angeles urban adult contemporary station owned by Stevie Wonder through Taxi Productions, Inc. Wonder purchased the station in 1979 for more than two million dollars. Licensed to Compton and based in Inglewood, it has been continuously Black owned since 1965, the longest such run on the West Coast.

Branded Radio Free 102.3 KJLH, the call letters stand for Kindness, Joy, Love and Happiness. The station pairs urban adult contemporary music with heavy local news, public affairs and community programming, including its long running Front Page public affairs show. Its live coverage of the 1992 Los Angeles uprising earned a Peabody Award, and it remains a central voice for Black Los Angeles.
