Davis Broadcasting, Inc. is a Black and family owned radio group founded in 1986 by Gregory A. Davis Sr., who serves as president and CEO. Headquartered in Columbus, Georgia with a second office in metro Atlanta, it is one of the longest operating Black owned broadcasters in the Southeast and describes itself as 100 percent minority owned.
Services
The company operates roughly a dozen frequencies across the Columbus and Atlanta markets. Its Columbus stations include WFXE Foxie 105, which has led the market since 1993, WKZJ K92.7, WOKS 1340, WEAM Praise 100.7 and WIOL ESPN 95.7. In Atlanta it runs WJZA Smooth Jazz 101.1 and the Spanish language La Raza and La Mega brands on WLKQ-FM and WTSH-FM. Greg Davis Jr. manages the Atlanta market.
