American Urban Radio Networks is the only African American owned radio network rated by Nielsen RADAR. Formed in 1991 from the merger of the Sheridan Broadcasting Network and the National Black Network, it is owned by A Wonder Media Company, the Black and woman owned holding firm founded and led by CEO Chesley Maddox-Dorsey.

AURN syndicates news, sports, public affairs and entertainment programming to thousands of affiliate stations nationwide and is the only Black owned network with its own White House correspondent. Its divisions include the American Urban Pinnacle, Epic, Personality, Majestic and REGAL networks, plus AURN News. A Wonder Media also owns Superadio Networks, a syndication house serving more than 1,000 affiliates in 23 of the top 25 markets.
