Circuit Court of Cook County — Judges

The Circuit Court of Cook County is the general-jurisdiction trial court for Chicago and suburban Cook County and one of the largest unified court systems in the world, with about 400 judges. Judges reach the bench by countywide election, by subcircuit election, or by appointment as associate judges.
