Formed in 2005 with three members, the Young Fellaz grew into an 8-to-12-piece street band best known for playing the corner of Frenchmen and Chartres Streets in the Marigny, first on a vacant lot and later in front of Frenchmen Art & Books. The band recorded three studio albums in its first six years, released 'Live on Frenchmen,' and has played festivals around the country including HONK! TX. Founded: 2005 Residency: Street sets at Frenchmen & Chartres Streets, Faubourg Marigny (evenings, weather permitting)
