The touring ensemble of Preservation Hall, the French Quarter venue that Allan and Sandra Jaffe began operating in 1961 to present traditional New Orleans jazz. Their son Ben Jaffe now leads the band, which received the National Medal of Arts in 2006 and has recorded 'That's It!' (2013), 'A Tuba to Cuba' (2019) and 'For Fat Man' (2025). The Hall at 726 St. Peter St. presents nightly 45-minute sets by Preservation Hall ensembles.
