Founded in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina by brothers Percy and Richard Anderson, Kinfolk blends Mardi Gras Indian chants, funk and traditional brass band material. The band released its debut 'Bourbon Street Parade' in 2009, has toured Europe, played Jazz Fest and the 2012 London Olympics, and is one of the city's most-booked bands for wedding second lines.
