Formed in 2017 by musicians and alumni of Rebirth, Hot 8, the Stooges and TBC, the Big 6 quickly became one of the most in-demand street bands in the city, playing nearly every second line of the 2018-2019 season. OffBeat called them 'the sound of New Orleans streets today.' They released a self-titled debut album in 2019 and played the 2026 Congo Square Rhythms Festival. Founded: 2017
