Ayanna Pressley

U.S. Representatives write and vote on federal law and the federal budget for a district of roughly 760,000 people. MA-7 takes in most of central Boston, including Roxbury, Dorchester, Mattapan, the South End, Fenway, Hyde Park, Jamaica Plain, Chinatown and parts of downtown, plus Chelsea, Everett, Randolph, Somerville and Cambridge. Pressley is a former Boston City Councillor and the first Black woman elected to Congress from Massachusetts.
