Black Diamond was built because the bottles were never ours.

The music was ours. The food was ours. In a city we built, in a culture we made, the one thing that never belonged to us was the shelf behind the bar. So Angel built the room where it does. Black diamonds form deeper than white ones — under more pressure, over more time, in harder ground. That is not a metaphor we reached for. That is just the truth about how we got here.
