K&Y Pharmacy has served the South Cobb Drive corridor in Marietta since 2013 under Dr. Yvener Charles, a 2005 honors graduate of Florida A&M University. It is a family-owned independent with unusually long hours for a neighborhood pharmacy — including Sundays — and counter service in four languages.
Services
K&Y does prescription ordering and refills, vaccinations and immunizations, health screenings, medical check-ups, Medication Therapy Management and stored medical records management. They run structured disease-state management programs for diabetes, hypertension, asthma and high cholesterol, with counseling for both patients and caregivers. The retail side carries vitamins, personal care products and diet and fitness supplements. Service is offered in English, Haitian Creole, French and Spanish, which matters a great deal on this stretch of Marietta. Hours are Monday through Friday 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Sunday 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
