Gabby Bakes is a small-batch cake studio on North Florida Avenue in Seminole Heights run by Gabby Duncan, a self-taught baker raised vegan by her Jamaican mother. She is known for vintage-style buttercream cakes with Lambeth piping inspired by 1970s and 1980s designs, and bakes from scratch with fair-trade cocoa and cooperative-sourced flour. Duncan opened the studio in 2023 and received the Black Kitchen Initiative Grant that year. Appointment only.
