Known as The Deuces, 22nd Street South was the heart of St. Petersburg’s Black business, entertainment and cultural life during segregation. Today it is a designated Main Street district reviving that legacy.
Visitor Info
Visitors can walk the corridor past restored landmarks like the Royal Theater and Manhattan Casino, murals and Black-owned businesses. The Deuces Live nonprofit hosts events and tours, and the district is free to explore.
