Named for the Father of Black History, this is the leading African American history and art museum on Florida’s Gulf Coast. It preserves and presents Black history, art and culture with a strong focus on St. Petersburg’s community.

Visitors see rotating exhibitions, art and local history displays, and the museum recently completed a renovation for its 20th anniversary. It is generally open Tuesday through Saturday.
