Central Station Barbershop and Grooming is a Black-owned shop on Central Avenue in St. Petersburg’s Grand Central District, led by master barber Antonio Brown. It cuts men, women and children, and it houses the Barbershop Book Club, a literacy program that gives discounted haircuts to children who read aloud in the chair. The shop is open Monday through Saturday, with Sunday cuts by appointment only.
